This family lived around Rudston until moving to Langtoft, and then migrating to Maryborough, Australia in 1886 after Mary Jane SCAIFE had died. John MARSHALL and his son, Scaife MARSHALL, returned to Yorkshire in 1892 where Scaife MARSHALL married, had a son William MARSHALL, and then Scaife MARSHALL's wife died. Scaife MARSHALL, his son William MARSHALL and his father John MARSHALL returned to Australia in 1907, but Scaife MARSHALL's son William MARSHALL returned to England at some time to live.(PJ)
