Other information

At the 1851 census, Richard was apprenticed to Richard JACKSON, which is a name that keeps cropping up... Richard's elder brother Ashton b 1832 and his little sister Rachel b1841 both had JACKSON as a middle name. His younger brother William married Ann Elizabeth JACKSON in 1860.

According to PN, Richard NELSON refaced the Welton church clock in 1873.

Richard is buried in the same grave as his wife Lois NICHOLSON and one of his granddaughters. (ECr)
